What's up. I'm back for one more time this year to talk about how shitty it's been. The year started off with my grandpa dying at the end of January. A week later, FMX rider Jeremy Lusk died. A great way to start off the year, eh? Well as my parents and my grandma who stayed over night after visiting the hospital for a falling problem (just to add more into the year) got into bed, I went down here to the good old stress reliever to try to moto out the day seeing that I got my copy of MvA Unleashed. Well, I got on Facebook, only to see a post from Avenged Sevenfold, my favorite band. I see something about The Rev, and I looked away for a second thinking it was an album update from none other than him. Then I see that he is dead.
This year has been shitty at best. Sure it's had its high points, but those were few and far between. Many people have been lost this year that were close to my heart. My family has been having a rough year too, with medical ailments being the topic of the year for us. My dad almost died back in March, so he was one that we were able to pull back.
Back to The Rev, Jimmy was one of the coolest guys that I've ever seen. Unfortunately, I never got a chance to see him and his skills live in concert, but I've seen many videos and DVDs of him doing what he does best. I've also seen him at his funniest. He was a really cool guy, and 28 is too young for anyone like him to be taken from us. Hopefully, he has his own Little Piece of Heaven up there right now with the big guy. I thought it was almost creepy the way that worked out though. A Little Piece of Heaven was the first song that was entirely written by him and put on one of Avenged's albums. It's weird to me that the song is named that then two years later he's gone. But that's how life works I guess. As I've figured out this year, that is how it is and it really sucks.
To end, it seems that generally everyone has had a bad year, or atleast the people I know. It's been a rough one. I feel really bad for the rest of Avenged though, because they said a month ago that the new album would be darker due to them having such a shitty year. There is no way that this helps at all. I know it didn't help my year any. It's just that I felt that I was out of this dark valley and now it just becomes more and more of a walk. Check out the song Fall Back Down by Rancid. It best describes the year in my opinion. Like they say, "Don't worry bout me, I'm gonna make it alright". They also say "I've had a bad year, a lot to go through, I've been beat down knocked down, black and blue..." Those are the words that symbolize my year. All I can hope for is a good '010. I can't see how it can be much worse than this year, but tomorrow's a mystery, so we'll see. Until 2010, later party ppl.

Bro Hymn (45 minutes)
Bro Hymn is a song written by Pennywise's late bassist Jason Thirsk in honor of 3 friends killed in a car accident. The song basically gives a message that brotherhood, and how true friends are always there for one another in times of need. How does this apply to a blog post though is what you want to know. Well last night was an interesting night. Usually I would tell all that happens and in the past week, but up till about 10 pm last night, nothing else matters. Bro Hymn really spoke to me now that I have experienced what I did.
I'm not going to go into alot of detail here. All that I'm going to say is there were 5 of us at the park last night and some stuff happened and we just talked pretty seriously. It may not seem like we would have been able to or that it actually was serious talk, but it really got to me. I thought the whole drive home and I continued to do so for the next 3 hours while playing MX Unleashed.
45 minutes of my talking and I went home and felt like I did after 2 days of a deep retreat last year for school. A lot of encouraging things were said, but then there were things that I was told to keep going with, which seems like I'm dragging it on anyways. Here's the deal with the last part of that sentence real quick. The chick I've talked about before that I was feeling like I could get together with, that isn't going how I planned it. Basically, the interest has just dropped big time. I'm pretty much giving up on it. I'm outta gas here, and the urging to keep going is just me getting every last drop out of it, something I don't really want. I'd been thinking about it, but my friends last night persuaded me to tell her what the deal was. I told her that I like her but I wasn't sure if she likes me. I texted that to her and never got anything back. I can totally see already that it's time to stop just from not getting the reply back. A simple I don't like you would have been good, but I didn't even get that. It seems like this happens a lot to me. I give, give, and give, but I never receive anything in return. This is how I felt in my last relationship and this might be how the chick felt 2 years ago when I didn't get the clues. Fuck it. I'm done with it.
On the other hand, some encouraging things were said that really made me feel better. One of my buddies apoligized for giving me so much shit all the time. This is a perfect time to get this part out now. I really do let things bounce off me. I've got a tough front there, but somethings do get through and I just think about them, just like I was thinking last night. I kind of let them get to me and it hurts a bit. Not a lot, but it's like I can still feel it there. The apology really did get that stuff out of my mind.
Now you still might be wondering where Bro Hymn comes into play. There might be a bit of a hint in there somewhere, but here's the real meaning of it to me. All of us that were there last night bonded a bit. After all that was said and the seriousness of the situation, I really feel like these guys are brothers to me. Sure we've argued, we've given each other a ton of shit at times, but the truth is we all care about each other a ton. It's exactly as the song preaches. We'll always be there for each other, and nothing can stop us from being brothers. It might sound cheesy, but you know what, I sat there for 3 hours last night just thinking about this. When it hit me that the song was just like what had happened last night, it was like everything made sense. It totally goes right with what was said, whether it was meant or not.
Through all of the events that happened in that short 45 minutes, I feel rejuvenated. Everything that happened made for the most part made me feel a lot better and I can see the difference myself. I am definitely in a good mood today, even though there is going to be some more deep shit today from the looks of it. I feel that it will be a good thing, once again, though. Some more is going to be said most likely and all it can do it make the bond we have stronger.
The end of the first verse in Bro Hymn speaks out to me the most, and it always has since I had first heard it. "Brotherhood's our rule we cannot bend''. After last night, I couldn't say it much better myself.

What a fun weekend
Whats up everyone? I'm in a really good mood right now. ive got some fun stories since the other night, so lets start eh?
after Friday nights activities (mainly the dance party thing) we decided to have another one last night, so we had a rave, but we'll get to that later. saturday night not much happened. nick was out of town and jovany couldnt do anything, and me and matt couldnt get a hold of chris (probly cause i called only once) and so me and matt just went to the movies. we saw Zombieland, which might've been the best movie ive seen all year. it was so funny when it needed to be.
yesterday, though, was the best part. like i said, we had a rave. it wasnt out in the middle of a field (kinda) like normal ones would be though. we actually held it in the darkest part of longacre, which was just a grass clearing in the middle of the park. we bought glow sticks, face paint, and for some reason, which i dont understand still, matt and jovany got pacifiers. so with all of our stuff ready, we headed off to the park and started getting ready. we got our glowsticks on and then turned our raving on. we went for a full 2 hours atleast, and every second was a blast. i ended up shirtless for most of the night even though it was like 45 degrees out, and i actually drove home with no shirt on and glowsticks on my wrist and ankle. that was the most fun ive had in awhile.
today, me and my brother went to citizens park to scout out a bmx park id heard about. turns out it was 3 things: a 7' drop in, a fun box with a quarter pipe on one side and a lander on the other that was abotu 9' long, and a smaller drop in that was probly more for ending the run on, and there was a big concrete area for just flatland stuff. we just kinda looked around and it didnt look that bad. i figured i could do about everything. heres the thing though: standing on a drop in and being on a bike looking at it are two very different things. we didnt hit the big one at all, so that eliminated that. then there was the funbox, which we hit from both directions after gaining some confidence. i actually tried the last drop in, but just slid off and hit myself in the nose with the bars. overall, that was fun. i didnt do as much as i thought i would, but that was fine considering thats the first time ive ever hit up a legit park before.
so this may not seem like much, but this was honestly one of the more fun weekends ive had recently. tomorrow its back to school, but it wont be too bad like usual. i have no idea what were doing in any class, but thats fine. so until next weekend, later.

The Downfall of Us All
It's been a few days since i was on here, and after last night i feel that i have enough to write about from the past week. so lets go.
i dont remember much of last weekend other than saturday. that night i froze at the POWRi race at Belle-Claire. i had nothing else to do and it was the last race of the season, so i figured why not, lets go and have some fun. turns out it was a lot of fun. great racing like always, but there were like 5 or 6 flips. alot more than usual, but everyone was fine. in fact, during one of the heats, a mini sprint flipped, they got the guy rolled over and he came back to finish i think 3rd in the heat with only a bit of damage to his wing. it was cool to watch. after the racing was done, i hung out in the pits for awhile and then went home. i was cold and just ready to get home. they did finish the races unusually quickly though so there wasnt a rush to get back home.
the other thing that happened that was significant to me was a show i watched on FUEL TV. there was this show called Props, which followed bmx teams going on trips and just following them around as they free rode in different countries and sometimes just the US. i saw some pretty sweet stuff and i got an urge to hit some jumps or make a dirt hit. that was a really cool show though.
now lets go through the school week. i think it was tuesday i got a 100% on a math test, something that probably hasnt happened since grade school. i was really happy it happened too. i take trig, and earlier in the year, there was some stuff that was giving me trouble and my grade was an F. the quarter ends this coming week and i am in striking distance of a B. im so happy about that. thats pretty much all that happened at school that i can think of.
yesterday. heres where it gets fun. the past couple days and into yesterday afternoon, its been raining. i like to sometimes do powerslides in the rain cause the roads/parking lots are wet and its easy to do in my 2001 bone stock ford escort. me and one of my buddies met up at the park and i came in and did an awesome one. so that was all for then. we chilled there a bit then went to his house, then went to go pick up a friend from the movies. turns out though, i was picking up 3 friends at the movies, and me and my buddy who i was with were like what the fuck is this? so i just drove us around until they wanted to go back to their cars at the movie theatre. half of the lot was empty, so i figured id try to do a huge slide like the one at the park. so i look to the left, which is where the slide is heading, and i tried to find the ebrake behind the movies i had just bought that were sitting right there. its almost like fates way of saying, don't do. do i listen? of course not. i pull it and it only kicks out a bit. then i turn to the right to see a cop driving down the aisle of cars next to me. sure enough he pulls me over and all my friends are like "you seriously didnt see that?" i said "no im looking to make sure i dont hit nothing."
so this is the first time its ever happened to me. i am shaking like a leaf. if i get a ticket, im done. my dad will rip my liscense up with his bare hands. so i turn off the music i had blaring after my buddy yells at me to because i cant think straight, and the cop comes up to the window. asking if i always drive like that. "Uhh...." (Me) "sometimes?" (cop) "Yeah sometimes....rarely" then he asks what the letters FSU stand for on my back window.
lets flash back real quick like. 2nd week of high school football, and our school plays our biggest rivals from literally right down the street, Belleville West. the night before, we had a big bonfire where we got pumped up for the game and we threw some West stuff in the fire. some chicks were writing on everyones cars Beat West, or Go Althoff, and FSU. i asked one girl what it stood for. "Fuck Shit Up." apparently its the teams motto this year. theyve had a couple sucky seasons and weve lost our reputation of one of the best teams in the area. this is our comeback year.
so fast forward back to last night. the cop asks and lets do some dialogue again. "What's FSU stand for? Is it some straight edge stuff" (we got a laugh outta that one later seeing that i was dropping people off before going to meet up with my staight edge friend) (once again) "Uhhhhh...I'm not sure if i should say. I didn't write it on there though, its a school thing. Its the football teams motto" "You can say it I won't blush" "Ummmm....(insert nervous chuckles here) Freak Stuff Up." i wasnt gonna cuss in front of a cop although its not a big deal for him. "So Fuck Stuff up." "Yeah yeah."
So after that he got my liscence and insurance, and i was surprised i was able to get it out i was shaking so much, and everyone else said they saw me shaking too. so he comes back, hands me my shit and says like "drive slower" and walks off. im askin my friends "is that it?" one of em said wait till he turns off his lights and then you can go. so i did so, restarted the car, and they got out.
so we laughed about that a bit the rest of the night. after this incident, we proceeded to the park to meet up with our friend and his girl. we just chilled in his van for a bit listening to music then took it outside in the parking lot cause obviously no one was there due to the cold and wet conditions. we pretty much had a dance party out there, with mosh pits, head banging, the usual kind of stuff. it was a blast though. came home after that and barely squeezed out a win against FSU (ironically) in the Orange Bowl in NCAA Football 09. after that i watched Ghost Adventures and went to bed.
that was pretty much the most exciting parts of my past week. hope you got some laughs. later party ppl

One thing I've learned from high school...
is that you can literally almost trust no one. Rumors start spreading, other people find out about things, and shit gets blown way out of proportion. so in this one-off weekday blog post, i will tell you about why i had a bad feeling about today, and how this was one of those times where the feeling was unfortuantely right.
before we talk about today specifically though, I'm going to do a flash back here to i beleive early last year. theres this freshman chick that i notice is pretty good looking. i never really planned on asking her out or getting to know her though. i just thought she was cute. so fast forward to this past summer. i babysat my cousins all summer. they live in millstadt, which is cool because its not hard to get around from place to place. you can pretty much walk or ride a bike to where ever you need to get to in the town. basically what i got paid for during the summer was to take them to gymnastics, the park and the pool. its a pretty sweet deal. towards the middle of the summer, i notice this chick at the town pool, and she had ridden her bike there, so i figured that she was from millstadt. that was pretty much all i knew about her. her name and where she was from. thats it for the most part.
i have a very easy going personality. not hard to get along with, and i dont let many things get to my head. im one of those fortunate people that can shrug most things by. the way that i have adapted to that so well is because i am somewhat vunerable, i suppose you could say. i take alot of shit, but its usually not too big of a deal. its easy to make fun of me or stuff though, because im not the sharpest tool in the shed. im fairly smart, but im not super quick or witty.
now knowing this, lets fast forward to the past couple of weeks. for some reason my buddies have been giving me a tough time about this chick. saying that i stalk her or something like that and there gonna tell her this and that i like her, you know, the typical stuff friends in high school say at times. apparently a few of my buddies have a class with her and sit next to her, so at any point, its totally possible for them to do so.
fast forward to lunch today. they start talking about this and everyone sitting at the table is pretty much just asking me about liking her and stuff, and i keep saying its not true, but of course no one listens. its kinda funny for awhile. i feel like Drama on Fantasy Factory when they give him a tough time about things. one of my buddies pulls out his phone and starts taking pictures of me to show to her so she can see who this stalker looks like, so it seems like its happening today.
at my school, just like all schools, there is a no cell phone policy. you get seen with it out, regardless of if its on or off, emergency or not, your getting it taken away, unless your with a teacher who doesnt care. well one of the teachers that is supervising lunch catches my buddy with his phone out. she says im gonna have to take that, and hes like i cant give it to you. my grandpa is in the hospital in texas and his mom is there texting him and stuff to give updates or something like that. so the teacher is like sorry but i have to take it. after a couple minutes of begging, my buddy gives his phone up. for some reason he is pissed at me now.
why? couldnt tell ya. all i know is that he didnt want to talk to me, and he was making threats to beat the shit out of me, but thats just all bullshit. he aint gonna do nothin. i was talking to one of my buddies later about it, though, and he said that my friend with the phone was thinkin that i drew attention to the phone being out. i dont know how i couldve drawn more attention to the phone than that fact that it was 1. held up above everyones heads and 2. it flashed like a normal camera with a flash on would. i guess like its my fault though, but watever.
just a heads up real quick, i started this yesterday, but im finishing it today. so now ill continue.
today went by fairly smoothly. i was pretty quiet around my friends for the most part, and a couple of them picked up on it. i was just trying to make it through the day so i could hear as little about the whole chick incident as possible, although there were times that it got brought up by different people. my one friend i guess still thinks it was my fault for getting his phone taken away so hes not talkin to me, which is fine, cause truthfully, i dont care. i dont need to talk to him anyways. no biggie.
so the moral of this story is dont trust anyone with nothin. all of this started from me saying to one person a year ago, hey that is a good lookin girl. like most things that start with me, it snowballed into this. but like i said, its pretty much over besides the occasional taunting, but hey, shit happens. thats one of my favorite quotes ever and i stick to it. so thats it. ive gotten it off my chest. until the weekend, later party ppl

i have a very easy going personality. not hard to get along with, and i dont let many things get to my head. im one of those fortunate people that can shrug most things by. the way that i have adapted to that so well is because i am somewhat vunerable, i suppose you could say. i take alot of shit, but its usually not too big of a deal. its easy to make fun of me or stuff though, because im not the sharpest tool in the shed. im fairly smart, but im not super quick or witty.
now knowing this, lets fast forward to the past couple of weeks. for some reason my buddies have been giving me a tough time about this chick. saying that i stalk her or something like that and there gonna tell her this and that i like her, you know, the typical stuff friends in high school say at times. apparently a few of my buddies have a class with her and sit next to her, so at any point, its totally possible for them to do so.
fast forward to lunch today. they start talking about this and everyone sitting at the table is pretty much just asking me about liking her and stuff, and i keep saying its not true, but of course no one listens. its kinda funny for awhile. i feel like Drama on Fantasy Factory when they give him a tough time about things. one of my buddies pulls out his phone and starts taking pictures of me to show to her so she can see who this stalker looks like, so it seems like its happening today.
at my school, just like all schools, there is a no cell phone policy. you get seen with it out, regardless of if its on or off, emergency or not, your getting it taken away, unless your with a teacher who doesnt care. well one of the teachers that is supervising lunch catches my buddy with his phone out. she says im gonna have to take that, and hes like i cant give it to you. my grandpa is in the hospital in texas and his mom is there texting him and stuff to give updates or something like that. so the teacher is like sorry but i have to take it. after a couple minutes of begging, my buddy gives his phone up. for some reason he is pissed at me now.
why? couldnt tell ya. all i know is that he didnt want to talk to me, and he was making threats to beat the shit out of me, but thats just all bullshit. he aint gonna do nothin. i was talking to one of my buddies later about it, though, and he said that my friend with the phone was thinkin that i drew attention to the phone being out. i dont know how i couldve drawn more attention to the phone than that fact that it was 1. held up above everyones heads and 2. it flashed like a normal camera with a flash on would. i guess like its my fault though, but watever.
just a heads up real quick, i started this yesterday, but im finishing it today. so now ill continue.
today went by fairly smoothly. i was pretty quiet around my friends for the most part, and a couple of them picked up on it. i was just trying to make it through the day so i could hear as little about the whole chick incident as possible, although there were times that it got brought up by different people. my one friend i guess still thinks it was my fault for getting his phone taken away so hes not talkin to me, which is fine, cause truthfully, i dont care. i dont need to talk to him anyways. no biggie.
so the moral of this story is dont trust anyone with nothin. all of this started from me saying to one person a year ago, hey that is a good lookin girl. like most things that start with me, it snowballed into this. but like i said, its pretty much over besides the occasional taunting, but hey, shit happens. thats one of my favorite quotes ever and i stick to it. so thats it. ive gotten it off my chest. until the weekend, later party ppl

Figured now's as good as ever
I'm back after my week away. Just for the record, ill probly be doing this once a week for the time being. not much goes on to write one of these every couple of days. but in the past week, ive had alot of fun. it was homecoming week, so school didnt feel like school. everyone just goofed off and i dont remember doing much work at all, but then again i never do anyways. monday was pajama day, and i represented nascar with my dale sr. pajama pants, which i got last year for the same day, and ive only worn them two times now, once then and once last week. we had a speaker named ron white (no not the funny one, unfortunately) to tell us about abraham lincoln. apparently this dude has been doing research on lincoln for awhile now and he has been on about every big news station in the country. CNN, ABC World News, etc. he also teaches at UCLA, so this dude is hot shit. also monday, the homecoming week dodgeball tournament started, which all of the homerooms eventually played in bracket style. i didnt play till tuesday, so i just watched all the underclassmen run around.
tuesday was sports day. rocked the Metal Mulisha that day, and i got alot of what team is that and what the hell is wrong with your hat, because i have the bill flipped up, moto OG style. that day i got the first out of my homerooms game in the tourney. i ran up to get a ball for some reason at the start, got one, and nailed a chick who slid out. i was pumped up about that.
wednesday was cowboy and indian day. i was gonna dress up as a mexican, but i couldnt find one of those cloaky things, so i said screw it. i just wore my homecoming shirt that day, and honestly, thats all i really remember of wednesday.
thursday was class distinction day. i had been planning up mine for a couple years now. the seniors get to be old people, so i was gonna spray my hair and goatee gray, but i didnt search very hard and couldnt find any gray stuff. i also wanted to cut my hair into a crown, but my mom wouldnt let that happen. so basically two years of planning ended up with me wearing my homecoming shirt again. my homeroom played dodgeball again, this time if we won, wed be in the semis and wed play again right after the first game. we played a junior homeroom, and it was looking bad early. basically we had two people left, and they had a pretty good chunk left. we ended up holding on to go to over time, the people who were still in knocking all but two juniors out, making it a tie. in overtime, it came down to one person on the other side. we had both people and we just had to run the clock down, but one of my friends who was on the court threw the ball, hit the last junior, and we jumped up cheering. then we see the other kids do the same and run out to the one kid. apparently it bounced off of him, but he caught it. i was so pissed.
friday was blue and gold day, a big school spirit day. wore my crusader cru shirt, some blue and gold basketball shorts, and some blue soccer socks. (i do not condone soccer, its jsut wat i needed.) my hair was sprayed yellow, as was my goatee. that just ended up being a mess. me and jovany tried spraying each other up, and i got the most yellow not on my hair. it was a mess really. i dont know how i pulled it off so well last year. it was perfect.
so on friday we were on a half day schedule, which means classes are over at 12:30. the rest of the time was going to be spent on the homecoming day activities and pep rally. something i was really pumped up about was they brought the pudding eating contest back this year. they had it sophomore year and my team got second. i felt like we could definitaly win this time around, as we had all but one original member on the team. i found out that we were the only team that signed up though, so it was cancelled. we could either get the $3 we paid for the team back or enter the relay race. we did the latter of the two obviously. we (well I) brought the team from last (4th) to 3rd in the last leg. it was a sack race and some how i stayed up and caught my friend who was in third.
after some introductions of season sports teams, it was time for the 6 on 6 boys vs girls basketball game. i told one of the kids i went to grade school and played basketball with in 5th and 6th grade who was running it to put me down on the team, but i was half joking. he put me down on there and i was thinkin, alright this should be good.
it was, and it was a blast too. i ended up gettin a basket and made some turnovers in the first half, but i was tired as hell. i hadnt sweat that much in awhile. i forgot how tough it was to run back and forth too. it was much harder because you were constantly moving though. its not like a legit game where the ball is passed around and you stay on a side for 30 seconds. it was pretty much pass and shoot, then run back within 10 seconds, if that. it was intense. in the second half i got a breakaway, but i was afraid of something like this happening. i can dribble, but im not coordinated enough to do so and run. i dribble clumsily twice then kicked the ball out of bounds on accident. all in all, it was alot of fun. we ended up winning 13-6 over the girls.
that night was the football game. it was a pretty good game but we ended up winning 51-26. the team is now 4-1, the best since my freshman year when we were 9-2 and went to the playoffs.
last sunday we got dirt 2, and ive been having fun with that. some races are starting to frustrate me though, and it gets tough, but its still a blast. its still as much fun as the last game, but i wish they had real tracks in there. thatd make it alot cooler.
so basically, it back to school this week. not looking forward to being back in a uniform and having to act serious, but its alright. senior year and im gonna enjoy it. so thats it. ill be back next weekend. later

I'm back
Hey whats up. Im back for a full blog this time.
Not much has been going on. Just the usual. school, school, school. It really hasnt been bad this year. Well, except for trig. that hasnt been to bad, its just that im getting frustrated with what we are currently doing. its all stuff that you do on a calculator. easy, right? Wrong. we have a couple different formulas we have to know and its just confusing me. i havent been doing good on the quizzes on it up to now, and today we had a test, which i feel i did alright on. im still worried about it though. the past couple days is the first time since grade school ive really tried to understand math. im failing the class right now, but i know i can get that up. its just this stuff is tough for me to remember. ill be glad when we start something new.
this weekend is going to be good, except for the fact that i have a progress report with an F coming in the mail tomorrow. that aside though, football game tonight, which should be good, homecoming dance tomorrow night, and me and some buddies are filming a spanish project sunday afternoon. its gonna be pretty fun. also, me and the girl i like might be going to the movies tomorrow. Halloween 2 if so. thatll be a good one for this situation.
another thing that has made me happy is i went to slackers the other day for a Bloodhound Gang cd, but of course i walked out with all but that. after looking around, i found Max Payne 1 and 2, which i have been wanting to buy so i can get caught up for the 3rd one coming out this winter. id only played the 1st one back in 01 or 02, and i dint beat it or see that much of the story line. i actually beat it last night though, and im glad i finished it. im startin the second one now. i also walked out with Viva la Bam season 1. i was just telling my brother before i left to go there that i had been dying to see the scavenger hunt episode. got the whole first season for $10! i was so happy. ive been watching the episodes with cast commentary and its funny as hell. so are the deleted scenes. great stuff. so when i will get that BHG cd, god knows, but ive got enough to hold me over for now.
so thats pretty much it for the time being. i might be able to get another blog in by the end of the weekend, but we'll see. until then, later party ppl
