Hey whats up ppl. feelin good today. im over the weekends events, and i actually was over it by monday, or even sunday night, considering that the cup race was really good. Jr had a hell of a car, but that last run just killed him. easily a top 5 car.
speaking of cars, i got mine back tuesday. i was thrilled to death. the wire that they found that was messin up the car was some airflow control thing or somethin like that, and besides that, they found nothing wrong. it still takes a couple turns of the key to get it started up, but ill take it. its not stuttering after it warms up, so im good with it.
as you can probably tell, my mood is way better. the past couple days have been good to me. monday we were off (obviously) for labor day, and not much happend, so i was bored then, but i was able to hold myself over. tuesday was pretty good. like i alredy mentioned, i got my car back, and school went by fine. wednesday, my dad took my brother to drivers ed, so i got to sleep in, which i was happy about. slept like a baby. got to school, had like 4 tests, but they were all pretty easy. there were free hot dogs at lunch (turns out they were free cause they were left over from last thursdays bonfire) and i debated too long from my front of the line spot in the lunch line, but my buddy marcus said hed hold my spot to get one. i ran over and did so, getting the last one and half of the bun. right after that, we had a sub in spanish, but me and some buddies went to the college fair thing. i didnt plan on going, but i actually got alot of helpful stuff out of it. saw some cool colleges, but theres no way that 1. we can afford the majority of them, 2. i have the grades for the majority of them, and 3. there all too far away, so my mom wouldnt let me go to them. i really want to go to carbondale, but my mom wants me to go to edwardsville so i can live at home. shes scared of what ill do to myself (tattoos primarily). yesterday was alright. had to lift in PE and we did abs. honestly, i thought i was gonna be hurtin today, but im not feelin it too badly.
wat i am feeling is my knee. me, matt, chris, and jojo were at the park last night and we were playin catch with the football on the sand volleyball court, and guess which dumbshit dives and lands knee first in the sand? o wait. me. so that started bleeding pretty good, got that cleaned up using haggard ass park bathroom water and i had to use toilet paper, seeing that they dont have paper towels, followed up by the towel i use to get water off my car windows in the mornings thats been chillin in my dirty trunk. im gonna get my leg cut off. this thing has to be infected.
but on to more yesterday, we went to matts house for awhile and watched big brother, which was pretty cool, and then brice came over. he picks up matts gee-tar and starts strummin. this led to the reincarnation of the to be renamed Pizza Roles. today they plan on recording a bit and im gonna watch that happen.
so one of the more significant things that happened yesterday was i got the girl i likes number. thats right. i was surprised too. hopefully we'll get to hang out soon. i really want to get together with her. im kinda proud of myself though. ive never done that before. with the other two chicks i went out with, the first i alredy had her number, and the second called me after finding out my number, so ive never had to do it before. i almost skipped out on it, but then i told myself to man up and do it cause i know id be pissed about it later, which i wouldve been.
so overall, the past week has been pretty good to me. definitely in a big mood change from about this time last week. football team plays mascoutah tonite at home, so im ready for that. today should be pretty good. alright. ill see yall later
